Gorzelitz, Angeline (6 Aug. 1907 - 16 May 1942)

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Jaster Funeral home and at St. John’s Lutheran church for Mrs. Otto Gorzelitz, 34, of town of Weston, the Rev. William A. Baumann officiating. Burial was made in the Neillsville Cemetery.

Mrs. Gorzelitz died at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, at the Neillsville hospital, shortly after the birth of a baby girl, the infant preceding her mother in death.

The departed was born to Mr. and Mrs. John Krause of the town of Grant, August 6, 1907. She had always been a resident of Clark County. Her marriage to Otto Gorzelitz took place in Winona, Minn.

Mrs. Gorzelitz was a lover of home and children. She devoted her time largely to her family and to her household; willing at all times to assist her husband with his work on the farm. Living in close harmony with one another all through their seventeen years of married life, it can truthfully be said of this couple that they kept the promises which they made on their wedding day.

Mrs. Gorzelitz was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Arlene, by her mother, Mrs. John Krause and by a sister, Mrs. Harry De Groot. She is survived by her husband, son, Donald, and by her father, a sister and a brother, Mrs. Martin Clark, Alma Center, and Felix Krause, town of Grant.
