Her family moved to Gilman where she was raised and received her education at the Gilman Area Rural School and Gilman High School. She married Tony Saule on Nov. 29, 1958, at St. Peter and paul’s Catholic Church, Gilman. They moved to Willard and purchased a farm. She continued to farm until retiring in 2001. She resided in Willard until the time of her death. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and had many interests, but especially loved gardening, polka music, her dog, Tipsy, bird-watching, animals, flowers, cooking, baking, canning, visiting with friends, and traveling, which included Hawaii, California, Arizona, and Alaska.

She will be sadly missed by her son, Eugene (Sherry) Saule, Willard; her daughter, Marilyn Saule, Willard; six grandchildren; four sisters, Frances Kinney, Vista, Calif., Amy (Kurt) Bayer, Lake Geneva, Geraldine (Leonard) Teyssier, LaJolla, Calif., and Bernadine (David) Ruskin, Anchorage, Alaska; and four brothers, Casimir (Nora) Kornesczuk, Melrose Park, Ill., Tony Kornesczuk, Gilman, John (Diane) Kornesczuk, Eau Claire, and Mike (Tammy) Kornesczuk, Cadott.
