Stutte, Hugo #2 (27 Aug. 1908 - 9 Jan. 1993)

Loyal - Hugo Stutte, 84, Loyal, died at 8:25 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Medical Center, Neillsville, Wis.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal, with the Rev. Roman Kaiser officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Dyre Jr., Steve Slizewski, Dave Champa, Mike Stutte, Mike Sterwald and Alan Rosik.

Visitation will be at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, from 4-9 p.m. today with a Parish Council of Catholic Women rosary service at 4:15 and a prayer service at 8 tonight.

He was born Aug. 27, 1908, in Norwalk, to the late Fred and Anna (Degenhardt) Stutte. He married Florence Dyre June 12, 1933, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, and she died March 31, 1982.

He moved to Loyal in 1909. After his marriage, he and his wife farmed in the town of Loyal until 1967. They then retired and moved to Loyal. He had been residing at Neillsville Memorial Home since July 1989.

He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Nan Jean) Koch of Garden Prairie, Ill.; two sons, Terry of Loyal and Duane of Oconomowoc; one sister, Mrs. Hilda Loos of Loyal; seven grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was also predeceased by two sisters, Laura Stutte and Clara Clouse.
