Riplinger, Lorraine Helen (Marriage - 4 June 1937)

At a ceremony performed at four o’clock Friday afternoon at the bride’s home, Rev. C. Paul Nulton, pastor of the Colby M. E. church officiating, Miss Lorraine Helen Riplinger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Riplinger of Colby, became the bride of Arthur E. Tesmer of Owen, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Tesmer of Colby. The couple was attended by Miss Grace Riplinger and Elroy Tesmer.

The bride was attired in a beautiful ensemble of white silk with a picture hat and the bridesmaid wore a gown of new blue crepe with a picture hat. Flowers for both were corsages of roses and lilies of the valley.

A reception was given at the home which was nicely decorated with ferns and spring flowers and at 6:30 a dinner was served at the Hotel Robinson for the bridal party and members of the immediate families. The newlyweds will go to housekeeping at once at Owen, Wis.

The bride is a graduate of the Colby, Wis. High school and attended State Teachers College at Milwaukee. She taught school at Neillsville the past several years.

Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Tyler of Loveland, Colo., Mr. and Mrs. James Crawford of Minneapolis, Miss Grace Riplinger of Minneapolis and Miss Arva Sturner of Milwaukee.
