Thomas 'Tom' Goessl

MEDFORD -- Thomas O. "Tom" Goessl, 66, of the town of Hammel died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, in the town of New Haven, Dunn County.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford. Interment in will be Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Stetsonville.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Hemer Funeral Home in Medford where there will be an 8 p.m. prayer service and also from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

He was born March 19, 1941, in the town of Hoard, Clark County, to Orlando "Ole" F. and Helen (Kapfhamer) Goessl. He married Adoree M. Anderson on Aug. 11, 1962, and they were later divorced. He had been an over-the-road truck driver for various companies from 1978 until the present time.

He is survived by his children, Lori (Allen) Thieme, Withee, Barbara Jean Reeves, Beaver Dam, Thomas (Amy) Goessl, Owen, Ruth (Darrell) Dettmann, Beaver Dam, Randy Goessl and Paul Goessl, both of Withee, Phil (Tonya) Goessl, Owen, and Amy Jo (Randy) Shelton, Withee; 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; his mother, Helen Goessl, Stetsonville; brothers and sisters, Robert (Mary) Goessl, Medford, Judy (Bill) Strebig, Mosinee, David (Anna) Goessl, Medford, Jack (Linda) Goessl, Tomahawk, Glenn (Sue) Goessl, Medford, Dale Goessl, Vesper, Steve (Cindy) Goessl, Medford, and Jeff (Katie) Goessl, Wausau.
