She was married to Joseph Reil in 1882 to which union four girls and two boys were born, four of whom preceded her in death. Her husband passed away about eight years ago, since which time she made her home with her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Justman, at Milwaukee. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Justman, and one son, George Reil of Abbotsford, Wis. Also three grand children and seven great grand children.

The deceased, a faithful member of St. John’s church and a member of the Ladies’ Aid of that congregation, was numbered among the early pioneers of this community. She saw large tracts of land change from wild land into fine farms.
