Schulte, Robert & Pauline (Gold - 1 JUL 1938)

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schulte, residents of Colby and the town of Colby (Clark Co., Wis.) for nearly 60 years, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday and were honored at a 5 o’clock dinner given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schulte.

Mr. Schulte was born in the town of Herman, Sheboygan Co., June 26, 1859 and Mrs. Schulte nee Pauline Janning, was born in Manitowoc Co., July 15, 1866. They were married at Green Grove, July 1st, 1888, settling on an 80 acres of virgin forest in the town of Colby. In 1914 they retired and moved to Colby, leaving a 200 acre farm to their son, Otto, and wife.

Buchholz and daughter, Holcombe; Mr. and Mrs. E.C. Schulte and daughter, Delores, Milwaukee; Miss Luella Schulte, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Schulte, Marathon City; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Awe, Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Reinhardt Lipprandt, Owen; Carl Domer, Unity; Mr. and Mrs. Ewert Johnson and family, Unity; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schulte and son, Reuben, Mrs. Clara Altenburger, Miss Pauline Altenburger, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Laux, Mrs. Martha Rahn and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Neuman and family, all of Colby.
