Holmes, Henry (1873 - 10 Jan. 1938)

Henry Holmes, a resident of Unity for nearly all his life, died at his home Monday at the age of 64 years, cancer being the cause of his death. Funeral services were held at the Unity Methodist Episcopal church on Wednesday and burial was made in the Brighton cemetery.

Mr. Holmes went to Unity when a small child and came from Sparta with his parents.

In addition to his wife, the deceased is survived by two sons and three daughters: Rev. Peter Holmes of LaFarge, Rev. Lee Holmes of Melrose, Mrs. Harvey Meacham of Colby, Mrs. Eunice Blair of Unity and Mrs. Rose Meacham at home. He also leaves one brother, James Holmes of Rib Lake, one sister, Mrs. Herbert Binning of Unity, and two half brothers, Peter Lydickson of Loyal, and Andrew Lydickson of Unity.
