Schoenborn, Christina (Marriage - 9 June 2007)

Christina Marie Schoenborn and Philip John Writz were united in marriage June 9, 2007, at their home in Phillips. Patrick Writz, brother of the groom, officiated.

Christina is the daughter of Tim and Patti Schoenborn, Dorchester, Wis. Phillip is the son of Paul and Nina Writz, Abbotsford, Wis.

The bride wore a strapless white gown with platinum embroidery and crystal accents and a fingertip veil with crystal drops. She carried a bouquet of purple irises.

Maid of honor was Becky Schoenborn, Dorchester, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Rachel Kjos, Amanda Nielsen and Lisa Morehouse, all friends of the bride.

Flower girls were Kessa and Maggie Schreiner, Marshfield.

Best man was Kelvin Rachu, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Patrick Writz, brother of the groom, Dave Pisca and Eric Kunze, friends of the groom.

Ushers were Bryce Schoenborn, brother of the bride and Danielle Writz, sister of the groom.

Music during the ceremony was provided by Rebekah House on harp and vocalists Chuck and India Sillampa and Becky and Bryce Schoenborn.

A reception for 250 guests was held at Northway Motor Lodge, Park Falls. The couple honeymooned in Door County.

The bride is a 2003 Abbotsford, Wis. High School graduate and a 2007 UW-Eau Claire graduate. She is attending Marquette University Law School.

The groom is a 2002 Abbotsford, Wis. High School graduate and a 2003 graduate of Moraine Park Technical College. He is a lineman with Price Electric Cooperative, Phillips.

They reside in Phillips.
