Wettstein, Tillie Bertha (19 April 1877 - 5 Aug. 1942)

Mrs. Tillie Bertha Wettstein, daughter of Albert and Joanna Yorker, passed away August 5, 1942, at the age of 65, according to a message to the Press from her sister, Mrs. C. O. Manske, of 520 College Ave., Watertown, Wis.

Mrs. Wettstein was born in Neillsville, April 19, 1877, a member of a family of seven children, four sons and three daughters. Three brothers, and a sister and the parents preceded her in death.

The early years of her life were spent in Neillsville where she was confirmed in the Lutheran Chruch. On May 12, 1903, she was united in marriage to William Wettstein at Sparta, Wis., where she has since made her home, and was engaged in the restaurant business for many years.

She performed many acts of kindness of those who were associated with her in life. She is survived by her husband, one brother, Oscar Yorker, Neillsville, and a sister, Mrs. C. O. Manske, of Watertown.

Services were held at the Plumber Funeral home in Sparta on Friday, August 7, with the Rev. Frank J. Wright officiating. Burial was made in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
