Ziemba, Joseph (24 DEC 1871 - 21 DEC 1938)

Joseph Ziemba, 67, died of cancer at the Medford Hospital at 6:00 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 21, 1938. He had been ailing for nearly a year.

The deceased was born in Poland, Dec. 24, 1871. Jan. 2, 1902 he arrived in America and eventually settled in Chicago until the year 1910, when he purchased a farm in Taylor County which has been his home since that time.

He leaves his wife, Angeline Ziemba and eight children, four sons, John, Joe and Anthony of Chicago and Frank of Lublin; four daughters, Marie Fyda, Stephanie Ziemba, Helen Connolly, of Chicago, and Kate Medynski of Lublin, and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Jos. Rapala of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church at Lublin on Saturday last and interment took place in the parish cemetery.
