Majkut, Frank (18 FEB 1866 - 30 APR 1939)

Frank Majkut died at his farm home in the Town of Reseburg of latent pneumonia, on Sunday, April 30th, 1939, having reached the age of 73 years, 2 months and 12 days.

Mr. Majkut, who came to America in 1900, was born in Hungary on Feb. 18, 1866. He was united in marriage to Julia Trunko in Hungary on May 28, 1892. The family located in Clinton, Indiana upon their entrance to this country and arrived in Thorp in June 1919. This has been the residence of the deceased since that time.

Beside his widow, he leaves to mourn, two sons, William and John Mickett of Greenwood, Wis., and two daughters, Mrs. Mary Verzina and Mrs. Julia Polomski of Clinton, Ind.

Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Church at nine o’clock Wednesday morning, the Rev. F.A. Kulig and Celestine Wisniewski officiating, interment following in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe Rogus, John Bohnak, John Koszak, Walter Badzinski, John Pajak and Carl Onisczuk.
