Heil, Jacob (8 FEB 1869 - 1 JUL 1939)

Jacob Heil was born at Marion Ohio, on Feb. 8, 1869. As a young man he was converted to the Christian faith which he practiced and exercised in his everyday life. On Oct. 18, 1900, he was united in marriage to Luella Jane Ruggles. To this union was born four children, William of Holcombe, Margaret (Mrs. Orville Hinzman) of Milwaukee, and Kermit and Charles, who preceded him in death. Three brothers and one sister also preceded him in passing to eternity.

He passed away at the Marshfield Hospital on Saturday of last week, July 1, 1939, at the age of 70 years, 4 months and 23 days. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, July 5, from the evangelical Church at Dorchester with the Rev. LeCount officiating. Interment was made in the Pine Hill Cemetery at Curtiss, Wis.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, son William, daughter Margaret, one brother, Amos Heil of Nevada, Ohio, three sisters, Susan Shikufasky and Elizabeth Waldron of Marion, Ohio, and Katherine Robinson of Bell Center, Ohio, and a host of true and loyal friends he had acquired.
