Franklin Albrecht of Spencer reading the marriage ceremony. Evelyn Meacham was maid of honor and Violet Goetz was bridesmaid. The groom was attended by Marvin Goetz as best man and Darrel Meacham as groomsman.

The bride was attired in a dress of flowered satin with long train and seed pearls forming a "V" on each shoulder. Her veil was of lace edging falling from a head piece of seed pearls matching the pearls on her dress. Her shower bouquet consisted of garden flowers.

The maid of honor wore a floor length dress of pink marquisette trimmed with lace and the bridesmaid a floor length dress of blue marquisette trimmed with lace. Both wore a veil and head dresses matching their dresses and both had bouquets of mixed garden flowers.

The mothers wore shoulder corsages of sweet peas and carnations. The bride’s mother wore a navy blue dress trimmed with white with a matching blue jacket. The groom’s mother wore a dress of peach satin with a matching jacket.

Mrs. Frank Seefeld played the wedding march and she and her husband sang "In the Garden" and "Whispering Hope."

A reception was given in the church parlors which was decorated with pink, white and blue streamers fastened to a large white bell in the center over the bridal table. Streamers fell from the bell under which was a large wedding cake.
