Grisham, Winona (Marriage - 6 Aug. 1941)

Winona Grisham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Grisham of San Antonio, Texas, and Lt. Elmer F. Estrumse, son of Mrs. Gertrude Estrumse of Colby, were married in a beautiful lawn ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents, Wednesday, Aug. 6, 1941, at 8:30 P.M.

The bride wore a floor-length gown of Parachute silk, trimmed with bands of lace at neckline and waist, with a long veil. She carried a bouquet of white carnations.

Tables were decorated with baskets of cut flowers. The Parachute silk was a gift from the groom. The wedding cake was in the form of two large bells trimmed with little flowers with a large maline bow at the top.

The young couple left Texas at 11 P.M. for Middletown Air Depot, Middleton, Penn., where the groom is an aviator in the government air force.
