Biddle, Mary (2 DEC 1940)

A lovely wedding service solemnized in the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Mary Biddle at Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), united Bernice Biddle and A.C. Hoeper, son of Mrs. Roscena Hoeper of Owen, in marriage Monday forenoon at 10:00 o’clock, Dec. 2, 1940. The service was read by Father R.E. Ortmayer of St. Katherine’s Church, Owen, Wis.

The bride wore a beautiful gold dress and shoulder corsage and her bridesmaid, Mrs. Virginia Prock, her sister, wore a dress of blue and carried a bouquet of blue flowers.

The bridegroom and his best man, Alloise Prock, both wore dark blue business suits.

At noon a dinner was given for immediate relatives and friends of the newlyweds at the home of the bride’s mother.

Mrs. Hoeper is a graduate of the Thorp High School. She has a large number of acquaintances and friends in Owen, having been employed in the city at different times.

Mr. Hoeper is a graduate of the Owen High School and is also a graduate of a general business course of the Oxford Institute.

The young couple will make their home in Owen where Mr. Hoeper does electrical work.
