Ciutiss, Wis. - Apr. 10, 1947

Kathryn Peterson, a student at Central State Teachers College, returned to Stevens Point on Sunday after having spent the Easter holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Peterson.

Arthur Lee Lokken, who attends school in Milwaukee, spent Easter with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Lokken.

Mr. and Mrs. John Podgorski of Winnetka, Ill., spent Easter with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Anderson. The Podgorskis,’ former residents of Green Grove, expect to leave soon for a trip to Sweden.

Arlyn Peterson of Chicago, spent Easter with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Peterson.

Mrs. John Borgemoen left on Friday on an extended visit to visit her daughter at Newell, S.D. Mrs. Borgemoen’s husband is still a patient at Mt. View Sanitarium, at Wausau.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Matthias and children returned to Ashland on Monday after having spent Easter with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Matthias.

Mr. and Mrs. George Beach of Coffyville, Kansas, called on friends and looked after his farm in the town of Hoard last week.

Mrs. Fredrica Conrad of Thorp arrived here on Saturday to spend a week at the Ostenson home.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Stockmeyer and daughter, Nancy, Mrs. Bernard Vegehlen and Miss Ethel Erickson of LaCrosse spent Easter at the Ernest Stockmeyer and A. M. Erickson homes.

Mrs. Wm. Zuelke and daughter spent Easter with Mrs. Zuelke’s mother, Mrs. Ida Kraut.

Mrs. Michael Novak returned home on Tuesday from Chicago where she had attended the Syracuse Nationals play in the National Basketball Tournament on Saturday evening. Her husband, Michael Novak, plays on the Syracuse team.

Mrs. Norma Johnson of Abbotsford, Mrs. Louis Klude and children of Chicago visited at the Fred Machlett home on Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Hoff transacted business at Wis. Rapids on Monday.
