At 11:00 o’clock Saturday morning, May 24, 1941, Miss Bernadine Sturgeon, daughter of Mrs. G.I. Sturgeon, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Russell Andersen, Owen, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Andersen, 2232 N. Kenneth Ave., Chicago, Ill.

The ceremony was performed at the First Presbyterian Church in Marshfield by the Rev. Arthur R. Oates, with Mrs. Wilbur M. Johnson, Marshfield, and Aaron G. Sturgeon, Wausau, sister and brother of the bride, serving as attendants.

Following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was served at the Hotel Charles, Marshfield, to the following guests: Mrs. G.I. Sturgeon, Mr. and Mrs. George Krom, Miss Elizabeth Bruchert, and Royal Bacon, all of Owen; Mr. and Mrs. John Andersen and grandson, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Aaron G. Sturgeon, Wausau; and Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur M. Johnson, Marshfield.

The couple left on a brief wedding trip to the southern part of the state, and will reside in Owen.

Their many friends are sincere in wishing them the utmost of happiness throughout their wedded life.
