Froeba, Catherine L. (Marriage - 13 Dec. 1952)

Catherine L. Froeba, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Froeba of Loyal, and Ronald Grambort, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Grambort of Abbotsford, were united in marriage in the rectory of St. Anthony’s Catholic church in Loyal Saturday morning.

A floor-length frock featuring a long-sleeved bodice of lace embedded with rhinestones and a full skirt of nylon net over satin was worn by the bride. Her finger-tip veil was secured to a crown of seed pearls and she carried a colonial arrangement of red roses and white mums.

Armella Froeba of Marshfield, a cousin of the bride who filled the role of maid of honor, was attired in a salmon-colored formal with a matching bolero and headdress. Yellow roses and yellow, white and pink mums formed her bouquet.

The bridesmaid, Miss Darlene Grambort, wore an orchid-colored formal and carried a bouquet like the maid of honor’s.

Daniel Kramer of Dorchester was best man, and James Grambort of Abbotsford, a brother of the groom, was groomsman.

Mrs. Froeba viewed her daughter’s wedding in a wine-colored suit and black accessories, and the groom’s mother donned a navy blue suit with matching accessories. Each had a corsage of yellow roses and white mums.

Beginning at 1 p.m., a reception was held in the church hall.

The bride, a graduate of the Loyal High School, is employed in Milwaukee by the First Wisconsin Trust Co. Her husband, a graduate of the Abbotsford High School, is also employed in Milwaukee, at the General Electric Co.

Out-of-town guests at the wedding were from Milwaukee, Stevens Point, Colby, Marshfield, Greenwood, Curtiss, Dorchester, Spencer, and Abbotsford, Wis.

The couple left on a wedding trip to Southern Wisconsin.
