Curtiss, Wis. - Oct. 22, 1953

The Helping Hand Society will meet on Friday, Oct. 30, with Mrs. Linwood Harris.

Mr. and Mrs. Grant Herrick, Jr., and daughters of Beaver Dam, spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Herrick.

Mr. and Mrs. Art Thompson visited on Saturday with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Graham at Mauston.

Mr. and Mrs. George Pearson and children of Los Angeles, Calif., spent several days the past week with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Smiley.

Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Klemetson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Stockmeyer.

Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Geary and daughter visited their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Nenzel, at Bloomer, Wisconsin, Sunday.

Mrs. Orrin Hill and Miss Esther Thompson, who have been visiting their brother, Alfred Thompson, and family and who accompanied them to Milwaukee, spent the week-end there with two other sisters, Misses Alma and Minnie Thompson. Mrs. Fred Pudlas went as far as Appleton and visited a sister, returning home with the Alfred Thompsons late Sunday.

Miss Ruth Green, R.N., at the Veterans Hospital, Los Angeles, Calif., left for that place Wednesday. She was accompanied by Miss Agnes Rued who will spend the winter in California, and her mother, Mrs. Minnie Green, and aunt, Miss May Skidmore, who will stop off at Mt. Carmel, Ill., to visit a sister-in-law.

Mr. and Mrs. Lee Smiley and family and the latter’s sister, Miss Ruth Green, visited the latter part of the week with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Green at La Crosse.
