Mrs. Amos Terlinden Sisco was born in New Cassel, Fond du Lac Co., Wis., on Jan. 20, 1866, having reached the age of 75 years, 1 month and 18 days. She was married to Amos Sisco on Oct. 13, 1895 at New Cassel. Died in our village on March 10, 1941 of a heart attack following a short illness.

She resided in the Town of Lambertine for a year after her marriage and lived nine years in Grand Meadow, Minn., coming to Thorp in 1905 with her husband.

After a long, busy and useful life she died as she had lived - honored, trusted and loved. She reared her own monument while she lived in the hearts of all who knew her. She was a faithful member of the Methodist Congregation, its Ladies Aid Society, since 1905 and for over thirty years belonged to the Woman’s Relief Corps and also was a member of the Welfare Club of Thorp.

She leaves to mourn, her husband, numerous nephews and nieces and many friends.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Jas. Irish in the Methodist Church here on Wednesday afternoon, March 12th. The remains were taken to Fond du Lac Thursday by the Bogumill Funeral Directors where services were held at the Methodist Church at two o’clock, Rev. J.G. Law officiating and interment taking place in the Rienzi Cemetery.
