DORCHESTER--Helen Hollman, 82, Dorchester, died Aug. 8, 1994, at St. Joseph’s Hospital Hospice Care Unit, Marshfield.

DORCHESTER—Helen Marie Hollman, 82, Dorchester, died at 3:30 a.m. Aug. 8, 1994, at St. Joseph Hospital Hospice Care Unit, Marshfield.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester with the Rev. James Schaefer officiating. Burial will be in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery, and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be at Maurina Funeral Home in Dorchester after 4 p.m. Wednesday. The Parish Council of Catholic Women will have a rosary service at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday followed by a parish rosary service at 7:30, both at the funeral home.

The former Helen Riegert was born July 10, 1912, in Stetsonville to the late Allen and Louise (Voight) Riegert. She received her education in rural Stetsonville schools.

On Sept. 17, 1935, she was married to Frank Hollman at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Stetsonville. They would have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary next month.

After their marriage, she and her husband farmed on his grandparents farm until purchasing their farm in the town of Mayville. They had lived on the farm in the town of Mayville for the past 54 years, retiring from farming in 1972. While helping on the farm, she also worked as a sales clerk for the Dorchester Co-op and Schief Hardware and Pinter's Grocery, all in Dorchester, Wis. Over the years, she also was employed by Gor-Mar Department Store in Colby and the Sure Fine Grocery in Abbotsford, Wis. She also was a homemaker and an outstanding baker.

She was a member of the Lucky 13 Homemakers Club of Dorchester for many years and the Ladies Order of Catholic oresters. She was also a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and the P.C.C.W.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Hollman of Dorchester; two sons, James (Mary Ann) Holman of Abbotsford and Dennis "Butch" Hollman of Dorchester; four daughters, Roberta "Tuts" (Merlin) Ludwig of Medford, Mary Jane (Glenn) Ludwig of Marshfield, Judy (Douglas) Rahn of Milwaukee and Sandra (Ronald) Wishart of Manalapan, N.J.; one brother Clarence (Helen) Riegert of Colby; two sisters, Frances Brandner and Alice Heindl, both of Medford; 21 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, George Riegert, and one grandson, Mitchell Hollman.
