MRS. LAZOTTE DIES THURSDAY EVENING

Funeral Services for Neillsville Resident Planned Monday

Neillsville--Mrs. Lydia Shoop Lazotte, 77, died at her home on route 1, Neillsville, at 10:30 p.m. Thursday, after several years of illness. The funeral will be held Monday morning at 10 o'clock, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with burial in St. Mary's cemetery, the Rev. J. A. Biegler, officiating.

The body will lie in state at the Shiller-Terhune Funeral Home until the service. A rosary service will be held Sunday evening at the Funeral Home at 8.

Mrs. Lazotte was born in Jefferson County May 7, 1866, and received her education there. Her maiden name was Lydia Shoop, she was married to Anthony Lazotte Sept. 27, 1887, and had lived on the home farm since her marriage. She is survived by four children; Grace and Tony of Neenah, Glenn of Merrillan, and Edward at home. Nellie, Mrs. Joe Hartung, and Thomas preceded her in death. There are 18 grandchildren.

The following brothers and sisters survive; Mrs. William Stevens, Neillsville; Mrs. Einar Nelson, Ladysmith; Mrs. Cole, Mrs. Schuppe, and Mrs. Campbell in the West and Sam Shoop of Warrenton, Ore. Two sisters and one brother preceded her in death, Mrs. Francis Moe, Mrs. Effie Christmas and Andrew Shoop.
