In a simple ceremony performed at 4:00 p.m., June 20, 1941 in the Lutheran Memorial Church at Madison, Wis., Elaine Hiller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto C. Hiller, of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Frederick A. Wegner Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Wegner Sr., of Oshkosh, Wis.

Attendants were Miss Minnie Wegner, sister of the groom, and Harold Hiller, brother of the bride. The bride was attired in a brown mesh ensemble with brown accessories and wore a corsage of yellow tea roses. The bridesmaid wore beige with matching accessories and a corsage of pink roses. The groom and his attendant wore brown suits and had white carnations in their lapels.

The bride graduated from the Thorp High School in 1937 and majored in Journalism at the University of Wisconsin.

The groom is a former student of the University of Wisconsin and a member of the varsity baseball and basketball teams, and received his Masters Degree in 1940. He is at present associated with the University of Wis. Athletic Department as assistant basketball coach.

Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Wegner Jr. will be at their home to their friends at 416 Chamberlain Av., Madison, Wis., after July 1st.
