Miss Florence Piwoni, daughter of Mrs. Valeria Piwoni of the town of Taft (Taylor Co., Wis.), became the bride of Henry Pietrasiewicz of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Pietrasiewicz of Thorp, at a nuptial ceremony Saturday morning, Aug. 23rd, 1941. The Rev. Fr. Rapala married the couple at St. Stanislaus Church in Lublin at 9:00 o’clock.

Attending the couple were Miss Frances Florkowski, Miss Lucille Grajek and Joseph Grajek.

The bride was gowned in a floor-length white satin and lace dress. Her veil was attached to a coronet of seed pearls, and she carried a bouquet of white flowers.

Miss Florkowski was attired in a rose pink taffeta floor length gown under silk marquisette. Miss Grajek wore a floor length gown of dark blue taffeta. They carried bouquets of flowers.

Following the ceremony a dinner was served at the home of the bride’s mother. The couple will make their home on the groom’s farm.
