Johnson, Renata (Marriage - 11 June 1955)

Miss Renata Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl J. Johnson, and Gordon Lynn, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Lynn, Sr., were united in marriage Saturday, June 11, at 2:00 P.M. at the Methodist church in Unity, Rev. Harvey Schall reading the marriage ceremony. Miss Barbara Johnson, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor, and Mrs. Levi Mews and Miss Caroline Oestriech were bridesmaids. The groom was attended by his brother, Russell Lynn.

The bride was attired in a floor length gown, net tiered skirt, lace covered satin bodice, "V" neck, long sleeves pointed at wrists, fingertip veil. Her bouquet consisted of carnations and roses.

The maid of honor wore a dress of blue net and lace, Mrs. Mews a dress of orchid net and lace and Miss Oestreich a dress the same as the maid of honor’s. Bouquets of all three consisted of roses and carnations.

A reception was held at the home of the groom’s parents.

The couple left for Milwaukee where they will make their home. The groom is recovering from a recent injury.
