Galinski, Lillian (15 OCT 1941)

A very pleasant event took place in the village of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 15, 1941, when Miss Lillian Galinski, daughter of Mrs. Joseph Galinski of the town of Thorp, and Bernard L. Vetterkind, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Vetterkind Sr. of the town of Reseburg, were united in marriage by Rev. F.H. Sprengler at the Lutheran parsonage.

The bride was attired in a black wool crepe dress with accessories to match and wore a corsage of mixed fall flowers in gold. Her bridesmaid, Miss Alice Thorson of Longwood, was also gowned in a black wool crepe dress and accessories to match. Her corsage was similar to that worn by the bride. The groom was attended by Raymond Raether of the town of Withee. Both men wore dark blue suits with gardenia boutonnieres.

After the ceremony a reception was held at the groom’s parents home to immediate relatives and friends.

The groom is employed at Frank Meske’s Lone Pine Cheese Factory and for the present they are making their home with the groom’s parents.

Hosts of friends and relatives wish the young couple much happiness and success in their journey through life.
