Colby, Wis. - Local News Sept. 8, 1955

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Nystrom and son of Embarrass visited his parents Sunday and Monday.

Miss Mary Lau Bonar of Northlake, Ill., is visiting at the home of her grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Steinwand.

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Koffarnus and children and Robert Ebert of Wausau, Wisconsin spent the week-end at the William Ebert home.

Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Bruss attended the 29th annual Schwantes family reunion at Marathon Park, Wausau, Sunday, Aug. 29.

Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Martin of Milwaukee, former residents of this community, spent the week-end here with friends and relatives.

Miss Veda Lueloff of Madison spent last week with her mother, Mrs. Theo. Lueloff, and her sister, Gertrude.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rosselet and Stuart of Milwaukee spent the past week at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred J. Kobs.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wiegman and daughter of Waukegan, Ill., spent the week-end with the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wiegman.

Mrs. G. N. Nystrom spent last week in Chicago buying merchandise for Emilie’s Dress Shop. She also visited her daughter and family at Oak Park.

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Schulz left Tuesday to attend the funeral of Mrs. Schulz’s son-in-law, Roland Riechmann, who died of a heart attack while visiting at Stockbridge.

Kathy Lueloff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orland Lueloff of Sharon, returned to her home Sunday after spending three weeks with her grand mother, Mrs. Theo. Lueloff.

Stanely Morales of Chicago, Ill., spent several days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Kraus. Mrs. Morales and children, who spent the past two months here, returned home with him.

Mrs. C. W. Schelling, who had been a patient at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital for six weeks, returned home. Mr. and Mrs. Noel Schelling of Abbotsford, her son and daughter-in-law, autoed after her.

Mrs. Sue Church of Chicago, Dr. and Mrs. A. M. Christofferson of Waupaca and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Christofferson of California were recent guests at the *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
