Deeds held at the Clark County courthouse indicate that Julius Feind sold the homestead property to Edward Feind in 1878.

In 1881, Edward Feind purchased additional land - 160 acres, location SE 1/4 of Section 15 - from Chas. S. Colby, Wis.
