Horn, Myrin (Marriage - 22 JUN 1927)

A number of friends witnessed a very pretty June wedding at the new Reformed Parsonage in this city when Hubert Horn and Anna Myrin were united in Holy Matrimony on Wednesday, June 22nd, Rev. E. Pfiefer officiating. The groom is a son of Mrs. Christine Horn residing in the Braun Settlement, and is a young man of sterling quality who needs no introduction in this community.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Myrin, of Withee, and is one who has won the admiration of a host of friends.

The bride was attired in a gown of queens-blue and white flat crepe trimmed with rhinestones. The satin ribbon which held her veil was set with rhinestones. She carried a large bouquet of white roses and ferns.

The groom was attired in a suit of dark gray.

Miss Martha Horn, cousin of the groom, and Mr Otto Horn, a brother of the groom acted as bride and groom attendants.

The bridesmaid wore a gown of pale green flat crepe. She carried a large bouquet of peonies, carnations and roses.

The best man was attired in a dark brown suit.

The bridal reception was held at the home of Mrs. Theo. Braun, a sister of the bride. The dining room was trimmed in streamers of blue and white crepe paper. A large wedding bell was suspended from the chandelier above the table. The table upon which a bounteous supper was served, was trimmed with various bouquets of flowers that surrounded a large wedding cake. Only immediate relatives were present.

The newlyweds left Thursday morning for the Black Hills, S.D. to visit relatives and friends. They will be at home to their many friends and neighbors on the groom's farm in Braun Settlement after July 5th.
