Dietsche, Lillian (1925? - 5 AUG 1941)

Lillian Dietsche, 16-year-old Loyal girl was injured fatally about 6:10 p. m. Tuesday when she was struck by an automobile driven by Charles Rahm of Loyal, as she came onto highway 98 riding her bicycle.

The accident happened four miles east of Loyal.

The driver of the car told county highway officer, W. R. Haire of Owen, and coroner, Pete Ludovic of Neillsville, that the girl made a wide sweeping turn as she came onto the highway and that he was unable to miss her despite his efforts.

The car struck her with its right front fender and threw her against the front windshield post of the car.

She was taken to a Loyal physician where it was disclosed that she suffered fractures of the skull, hip, and both legs below the knee. She died in the physicians office 20 minutes after the accident.

She is survived by her mother and eight brothers and sisters. Her father passed away two years ago.
