Stark, Lawrence (15 Mar 1943 - 4 Feb 2008)

Lawrence Stark LEWISTON, Idaho -- Lawrence "Larry" Stark, 64, of Lewiston, Idaho, formerly of Loyal, died Feb. 4, 2008, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Lewiston due to complications from multiple myeloma.

A celebration of his life will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Manuscripts, Archives and Special Collections department of the Terrell Library in Pullman, Wash.

Larry was born March 15, 1943, in Marshfield to Robert and Elsie (Dahl) Stark. He grew up on the family farm in Loyal. From 1985 until his death, he worked in Manuscripts, Archives and Special Collections as the Assistant University Archivist for Washington State University.

He is survived by his sister, Marcella Stark, Dallas, Texas; brother, Alan Stark, Malibu, Calif; and dear friend and fishing partner, Jose Vargas, Pullman, Wash.
