Anderson, Nora (Marriage - 17 June 1950)

Miss Nora Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Anderson of Colby, and Mr. Leonard Shulta, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Shulta of Wausau, were united in marriage at the St. Paul’s Lutheran church in Dubuque, Iowa, on June 17th, at 4:00 P.M. The double-ring ceremony was performed by Rev. F. Schultz. Mrs. Ray Anderson, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor and Mr. Ray Anderson, brother of the bride, attended the groom.

The bride was attired in a street length suit with a white jacket and navy skirt. Her accessories consisted of a white picture hat, trimmed in navy, and white gloves. A corsage of pink roses completed her ensemble. The maid of honor chose a beige sharkskin suit with a white hat and gloves. Her corsage consisted of maroon carnations and white asters.

The bride is a graduate of the Milwaukee Business Institute and was previously employed by the Socony-Vacuum Oil Company in Wausau. The groom is a partner of the General Building Maintenance Company, now working in Galena, Ill.

A reception was held at the Hiawian Room in Dubuque, Iowa. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kupec and son, Edward, of Wenona, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Al Cote of Rochelle, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brumski of Wenon, Ill.

The couple plan on a fall honeymoon to southwestern states and Mexico. They are now residing temporarily at 105 High Street, Galena, Ill., until the latter part of July.
