The toll of deaths in Wisconsin over the three-day Christmas week-end stood at 11 Tuesday - six due to traffic accidents and five to fires.

Eight-year-old William Sexton, Jr., of rural De Pere told his father he wanted to take "just one last slide" on his Christmas sled Monday. He coasted down a small hill near his home and out onto a county road, where he lost his life under the wheels of a passing truck.

Two aged Milwaukee women were burned fatally. Mrs. Alvina Strunk, 82, died Monday after her nightgown caught fire while she was preparing coffee. Her husband and son suffered burns in attempting to help her.

Mrs. Susan Springer, 80, died Monday of burns received Sunday when her night clothing caught fire.

A Milwaukee man, Thomas Sokolowski, 51, died Monday shortly after being struck by a car at a Milwaukee intersection.

A three-car collision near Barton in Washington county Saturday night killed Elmer Steinert, 38, of West Bend, and injured three other persons.

John Bain, 18, of Milwaukee, was injured fatally Sunday when the car in which he was riding skidded on an icy patch of highway 57 at New Holstein and glanced off an oncoming Greyhound bus into a ditch. He had been on his way to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bain, in Abrams. His companion, John Cross, 19, Milwaukee was taken *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
