Milton H. Molle, 76, Abbotsford, formerly of Loyal, died on Sunday, March 24, 2013, at House of the Dove, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, March 27, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal. Rev. Daniel Zimmerman officiated. Burial followed at the Lutheran Cemetery, in Loyal.

Milton Henry Molle was born on April 6, 1936, in the town of Green Grove, Clark County, the son of Henry and Louella (nee Edwards) Molle. He was raised on the family farm and received his education at Oak Grove School, and graduated from Loyal High School in 1954. After completing his education, Milton enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during the Korean Conflict, when he was stationed in Germany. After his honorable discharge, he returned to Clark County and began working in construction. On July 29, 1959, he married Nan Jean Ebert at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal. They moved to Sun Prairie in 1962, where Milton worked as a foreman for Kast-Rite Silo Company. In 1966, they moved to Waunakee, where he worked in the new home construction, until moving to Loyal in 1974 and starting his own business, Quality Concrete and Equipment. Milton sold the business in 1983 and began working as a salesman for the Lato Corporation, Thorp. In 1986, he began working for Reitbrock Corporation, a Division of M.C.C., until retiring in 2000. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, a charter member of Peace Lutheran Church in Waunakee, a member of the American Legion Post #175, and a former member of the Loyal Lions. Milton had many interests, but especially loved sports, including the Packers, Badgers and Brewers, playing city baseball as a younger man, snowmobiling, playing cards and cribbage.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Nan Jean, Abbotsford; one son, Gregory (Jamie) Molle, Bloomington, Minn; one daughter, Kimberly (Mark) Smiley, Maple Grove, Minn.; seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Andrew, Inga and Charles Molle and Maddison, Adam, and Jacob Smiley; one brother, Jack (Emily) Molle, Unity; one sister, Diann Shefchik, Marshfield; his special niece, Denise Horn; and other nieced, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Richard Shefchik.

Milton’s family would like to thank hospice nurse Dave Eisberner for his generous and compassionate concern and care shown to Milton as well as the staff of the House of the Dove.
