Frinak, Della (5 FEB 1944)

In a quiet ceremony on Saturday morning, Feb. 5th, 1944, Miss Della Frinak, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Frinak of Stanley, became the bride of Sgt. Donald Possley of The Marines, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Possley of this village (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.).

Miss Frinak is a graduate of the Stanley High School and is now manager of the Frinak Beauty Shop in Thorp.

Sgt. Possley, a graduate of the Thorp High School and former manager of the Thorp Hatchery and Produce Co. He joined the marines two years ago and put in one year and one-half in overseas service in the Southwest Pacific. On his return to the states he was stationed at San Diego, Calif., until his furlough when he returned home.

A wedding dinner was served at the Hotel Northern in Chippewa Falls. Honored guests were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Possley and Ben Burkhardt.

On Sunday Sgt. And Mrs. Donald Possley left via the "400" for Washington, D.C. where Sgt Possley will be stationed at a marine base near there.
