Kiewert, Robert (28 May 1843 - 8 Aug. 1900)

The writer was truly grieved to learn of the death of Robert Kiewert, of the firm of E. Kiewert & Co., of Milwaukee, which occurred in that city, last week, and was caused by cancer of the stomach. Robert Kiewert was a man of a genial, kindly nature that made him dear to the heart of every acquaintance. He was one of the oldest traveling men, in continuous service, in the state, having been on the road for over thirty years. In an acquaintance of nearly twenty-five years, the writer had never known an act of his but inspired admiration and love. The remains were laid to rest in Forest Home cemetery, Friday.
