The Zion Reformed Ladies’ Aid society will have their annual meeting with election of officers at the Gilbert Meyer home this afternoon, Mrs. Meyer; Mrs. Howard Corey, Mrs. John Speich and Mrs. Carl Grueb serving.

Mr. and Mrs. Christ Keiner and daughter, Louise and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Keiner attended the funeral of Christ Keiner’s sister, Mrs. Margretta Ludwig, which was held at Rib Falls January 5. Mrs. Ludwig, who was born at Aslar, Germany, June 30, 1860, passed away January 2, at Berlin.

Mrs. John Lindner underwent a gallbladder operation at the Sacred Heart Hospital Thursday.

Mrs. Carl Stabnow and daughter, Ruby have returned home, after spending two weeks with relatives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Fred Busch left Sunday for Rochester, Minn. He was accompanied as far as Merrillan by Palmer Vinger.

Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Hegenbarth and daughters, and Melvin Ferge have returned from Viroqua, where they called by the death of Mrs. Anna Thompson, mother of Mrs. Hegenbarth.

Mrs. Fred Behrens and Mrs. Don Warner entertained the Hi-Lo bridge club at the Behrens home on Tuesday evening, January 11.
