Domer, LaVon Ann (Marriage - 21 Jan. 1956)

The wedding trip of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas William Miller, who were married Saturday, will end in Pasadena, California, where they plan to make their new home.

Before her marriage to the son of Mrs. Lorna D. Miller of Pasadena, the bride was LaVon Ann Domer, whose parents are the Theodore Domer’s of Unity.

The Rev. H. E. Schall officiated when the nuptial vows were pronounced at 7:30 o’clock Saturday evening at the Unity Methodist Church.

A reception at the church parlors followed the ceremony and was attended by an estimated 80 guests from Wisconsin Rapids, Stevens Point, Waupaca, Los Angeles, Spencer, Colby, Abbotsford and Dorchester, Wis.

White roses were carried on a white Bible as the bride approached the altar. Her gown was of candlelight lace over satin, cut entrain. Her veil was finger-tip length.

Turquoise gowns with drop-shoulder effects were worn by the attendants, Mrs. Myron Greaser of Abbotsford, the sister of the bride, who was matron of honor, and Miss Charlotte Brueske of Minneapolis. Their flowers were white and turquoise carnations.

Myron Greaser, the bride’s brother-in-law, acted as best man, and her cousin, Lonnie Voss, of Dorchester, was usher and second male attendant.

After graduation from high school, the bride attended Bethel College in St. Paul and Wisconsin State College at Eau Claire. Mr. Miller is at present a college student in Pasadena.
