Mrs. Katherine Appolinia Stanek passed away at her home at Ladysmith on Thursday, March 23, 1945, having reached the age of 90 years. She had been in poor health for many years but a cheerful and uncomplaining invalid.

I have an oil painting signed by Joseph Stanek, Chicago 1906. It was a wedding gift to my parents in 1938. He supposedly was a distant cousin of my father, Arthur L. Fiala (Feally). His father was Charles Fiala, mother, Agnes Hubbard. Any info on Joseph Stanek, artist? Our address is Prairie du Chien, Wis.
