Six children were born to them: Elsie, Mrs. Lewis Kaudy, Leon and Kenneth Metcalf, town of York; Irene, Mrs. Ed. Struensee, Neillsville; Sadie, Mrs. Alvin Miller, who resides on the home farm; and Mrs. Fern Hagen, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

He is survived by his six children, eleven grandchildren, a half brother, Allie Metcalf, Chippewa Falls; and a brother-in-law, Percy Northup, town of York. A brother, Jesse Metcalf, died last summer in Altoona. Mrs. Metcalf passed away in 1927.

Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Kaudy, Wausau, their daughter, Miss Marie Kaudy of Chicago; and their son, Pfc., John Kaudy, Camp McKall, N. C., a paratrooper, and Mrs. Fern Hagen, Milwaukee, were here for the funeral services.
