The Brighton Homemakers met at the home of Mrs. Sheldon Lynn at 8:00 P.M. June 9th with 12 members present. Visitors were Mrs. Rudy Lynn, Mrs. Gust Moede, Mrs. Lucy Colby and Mrs. Fanny Boyer.

The president, Mrs. Sheldon Lynn presided. Mrs. Sheldon Lynn and Mrs. Ed Melander gave a cake decorating demonstration.

Saturday night several neighbors and friends called to surprise Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Lynn at a surprise party at their home.

Claire Ewert and Jerry Loughead, Wausau, are having a vacation from Vocational School there.

Mr. and Mrs. Arlyn Ewert attended Family Week End at Madison with their daughter, Sandra, who attends the University there.

Mrs. Sheldon Lynn attended a Homemakers meeting in Wausau on April 18th.

Mrs. Lester Ewert accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Leo Hebert of Colby to Waukegan, Ill., Friday and spent the week end at the Franklin Hebert home.

ENTERPRISE HOMEMAKERS

Ten members of the club attended County Day at Wausau October 19 and five took part in the dress revue. The five Japanese costumes were the property of Mrs. Arnold Habeck and were modeled by Mmes Habeck, Rudy Lynn, Elmer Carlson, Harvey Sukow and Dora Ewert.

Others from the club attending were Mmes Lester Ewert, Leo Hebert, Frank Meyer, B. W. Mabbott and Frank Jordan.

Friday, 8 Dec. 1961

A party was held at the Colby City Hall Monday afternoon, December 4 for he old and new officers of the Homemaker's clubs of the Cherokee District.

Those from the Brighton Homemakers who attended were Mmes Sheldon Lynn, Ed Melander, Vilas Luepke, Elmer Helsten, Paul Dauffenbach and Steve Bezak and Miss Eleanor Colby, Wis.

From the Enterprise Club were Mmes Lester Ewert, Rudy Lynn, Lester Ewert, Harvey Sukow and Graham Thayer.

Walter Wabrouck and Mrs. Nellie Wabeness and daughter of Harshaw were Sunday and Monday visitors at the Rudy Lynn home.
