Raymond Fradette

Neillsville--Raymond Fradette, 67, Eau Claire, formerly of Clark County, died Thursday at Luther Hospital, Eau Claire, following a lingering illness.

He was born June 6, 1913 in the town of York and was educated there. He graduated from Granton High School and lived in Eau Claire the past 40 years.

He is survived by his wife, the former Naomi Bollom, and two sons, James of Harvey, Mich., and Ricky of Prior Lake, Minn.; three grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Willard (Carol) Johnson of Marshfield, and Mrs. Frederick (June) Wendt of Neillsville.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Eau Claire Methodist Church. Friends may call on Sunday at Stokes Funeral Home, Eau Claire. The body will be cremated and the remains interred at Neillsville Cemetery.

Fradette, Raymond (6 June 1913 – 27 November 1980)

Raymond Fradette, 67, of Eau Claire died Thursday, November 27, in Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. He was born on June 6, 1913, in the Town of York. He received his education in Town of York schools and graduated from Granton High School.

On June 14, 1939, he married Naomi Bollom in Dubuque, Iowa ceremonies. The couple lived in Eau Claire for the past 40 years with Raymond working as a mechanic. Fradette served with the U.S. Army during World War II and was employed by the federal government, retiring in June 1979.

Surviving him, besides his wife, are two sons, James of Harvey, Mi., and Richard of Prior Lake, Mn.; two sisters, Carol Johnson of Marshfield and Mrs. Frederick (June) Wendt of Neillsville; and three grandchildren.

Friends and relatives called at the Stokes Funeral Chapel in Eau Claire with final services held on Monday, December 1, from the Lake Street United Methodist Church, Eau Claire. The body was to be cremated and the remains interred in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Jack Hebert, Dave Christensen, Leonard Drescher, Jim Weaver, Alvin Bjork and Chuck Hotvedt.

Attending the services from the Neillsville area were, Mrs. Frederick Wendt, Kathleen Dux, Ruth Berlick, Mr./Mrs. Ed Bollom, Gareth Bollom, Mike Bollom, Rose Bollom, Mr./Mrs. Larry Wren & family, Mr./Mrs. Glen Thompson, Mr./Mrs. Calvin Mills and Mr./Mrs. Everett Shaw.

Also attending were Carol Johnson and Mr./Mrs. Clair Wendt, of Marshfield; Mr./Mrs. Larry Wendt, Stoughton; Mr./Mrs. Robert Johnson, Bloomington, Mn.; Pat Bradshaw, Eau Claire; and many friends and relatives from Osseo, Chippewa Falls, Mondovi, Holcombe and Eau Claire.
