Kobylarczyk, Martha (12 JAN 1946)

Miss Martha Kobylarczyk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Kobylarczyk of the town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and Cyril Alger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Alger, were married Jan. 12, 1946 at 10 o’clock at a solemn nuptial mass at St. Hedwig’s Church with Father Piekarski performing the ceremony.

The bride’s wedding gown was of white satin with a net skirt and beaded bodice. She wore a full length veil and carried a bouquet of pink roses, white asters and pink snapdragons. Matron of honor was Mrs. Joseph Schmidt, sister of the groom. She wore a pink net gown with a blusher and carried white asters and purple snapdragons.

The bridesmaids, Misses Pauline and Margaret Kobylarczyk, sisters of the bride, and Wanda Malaszuk, wore identical gowns of blue net with blushers and carried pink asters and snapdragons.

The groom and his attendants, Wm. Wojtkiewicz, Wm. Huls and Louis Kobylarczyk, wore tuxedos with white carnation boutonnieres. Corsages of pink and white snapdragons and asters were worn by the mothers of the bridal couple.

A reception and dinner was enjoyed by the bridal party and members of the immediate families at the P.N.A. Hall. Supper was served to friends and neighbors in the evening with a dance later. Ted Wirth and his orchestra furnished the music.

The newlyweds will reside on a farm in the town of Withee.
