Globe - by Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow

Mrs. Emma Schoenherr of Neillsville spent several days with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dux, the past week.

Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow had as their guests Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Pischer and son, Pfc. LeRoy, who was home on a furlough, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Schlinkert and Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Kalsow and daughter on Thursday evening. Pfc. LeRoy left for his camp duties on Tuesday evening. He expects to stop off in Chicago for a short visit with his grandmother and other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dux and family and her mother, Mrs. Emma Schoenherr, spent Monday evening at the home of her sister, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Northup, near Greenwood, to be present at their wedding anniversary.

Miss Helen Kalsow was an overnight visitor with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow.

The correspondent wishes to correct the item of last week: Mr. and Mrs. William Hoffman have bought the Arnold Henchen farm just north of Globe; that is not true. Also the error which read Mr. and Mrs. Victor Schlinkert visited with Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hagedorn, instead Hagen; Another item read Mr. and Mrs. *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
