Flink, Alice (Marriage - 3 June 1944)

Miss Alice Flink, daughter of August Flink, Unity, became the bride of Bernard Tesmer, Loyal, at the 2:30 nuptial service read by the Rev. M. C. Goetsch, at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Unity, on Saturday, June 3.

The bride was attired in a white satin gown styled with a court train and her finger-up veil of net bordered in lace was caught in a crown of beads. She carried a bouquet of gladioli.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Obernberger, Unity, brother-in-law and sister of the bride, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Horn, brother-in-law and sister of the groom, were the attendants. Both of the ladies were attired in brocaded organza dressed in yellow and pink and wore corsages of spring flowers.

Music was furnished by Miss Adeline Goetsch, who sang, "At Dawning," accompanied by Miss Mary Thompson, Curtiss.

Decorations at the Obernberger home, where the wedding dinner was held after the ceremony, was carried out in yellow, pink and white color scheme and a wedding cake centered the table. Thirty guests were in attendance.

The couple will reside at Loyal where the groom is engaged as cheese maker.
