Prust, Viola (Marriage - 2 June 1944)

The marriage of Miss Viola Prust, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Prust, Granton, and Sgt. Joseph Mathis, Chicago, was solemnized on June 2, at the Lutheran parsonage in Algoma, Wis., the Rev. Carl Toepal officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schmeling, Algoma, were the attendants.

The bride is a graduate of the Granton High School and has been employed in Algoma the past two years. Sgt. Mathis is stationed at Ft. Benning, Ga. The couple visited last week at the home of the bride’s parents in the town of Fremont, where they were entertained on Tuesday evening at a miscellaneous shower. Sgt. Mathis returned later to Ft. Benning and Mrs. Mathis to Algoma, where she will continue her employment.
