Isadore was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Svirnoff, and was born December 29, 1905, in Neillsville. He spent almost his entire life here. He was graduated from the Neillsville high school, attended the University of Wisconsin and later the University of Minnesota. After the death of his father in 1930 he took over the Harry Svirnoff and Sons company and has been the manager ever since. He was an expert in the marketing of livestock. Also in recent years he has been engaged in the theater business.

On March 28, 1931, Mr. Svirnoff married Rose Abromowitz of Minneapolis, who survives. There are three children - Harry, 12, Michael, 8, and Bradley, nine months. His mother also survives. A brother, Morris Svirnoff, died in 1943.

He was a member of the Blue Lodge of Neillsville, and was also a member of the Kiwanis club. He was 39 years of age.

Mrs. Svirnoff’s sister and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Mennens of Minneapolis, came to Neillsville Saturday morning, and Mrs. Mennens remained here with the Svirnoff children. Mr. Mennens accompanied the wife and mother to Minneapolis. Friends who were here for the Sunday service included Mr. and Mrs. Mintz of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Abrahamson of Green Bay, and Ben Markus, who was a business partner of Mr. Svirnoff in the theater business.
