Hart, George Harrison (24 Apr. 1888 - 13 June 1945)

George H. Hart, whose death occurred in North Hollywood, Cal., June 13, was 57 years of age, and had lived in Clark county 55 years. He had been in failing health the past seven years, and about two years ago went west to live near his children.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, June 22, at the Schiller-Terhune funeral home, with the Rev. G. W. Longenecker, pastor of the Congregational church, officiating. Burial took place in the Columbia cemetery.

Mr. Hart was born April 24, 1888, at Neillsville. He was a son of the late George and Mary Hart, residents of this community. He was a farmer and a nurseryman, and had been employed by the state at Wisconsin Rapids for a time.

On October 11, 1909, he married Della Sweetland at Neillsville. They were the parents of seven children, two of whom are deceased. His wife, five children and 13 grandchildren survive. The children are: George of Dallas, Texas; Beryl of Wisconsin Rapids; Gerald, Bert, and Ruby, Mrs. William Kuehn, all of North Hollywood, Cal. There are three brothers: Charles of Elkhorn; Roscoe and Henry of Neillsville. Also there are three sisters: Irene, Mrs. Paul Yonker, Mary, Mrs. Walter DeHaven of St. Paul; Gladys, Mrs. Emil Yonker, Syracuse, N.Y.

George Hart of Dallas was my father and his middle was Henry.
