Hayton, Sharon G. (Ruud) (September 10, 1944 - April 21, 2008)
Sharon G. Hayton, age 63, of Colby, passed away Monday, April 21, 2008, at St. Joseph Hospital, Marshfield.
Sharon was born September 10, 1944, in Portland Ore., to Christopher and Ethel (Strizel) Ruud. She graduated from South Eugene High School, Eugene, Ore.
Sharon married Lloyd Hayton on January 18, 1964, in Reno, Nev. She was employed at the University of Oregon. After moving to Colby, she was employed at Colby Metals.
Sharon loved her pets, horseback riding and going to various casinos.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Lloyd Hayton of Colby; one son, Ronnie (Stephanie) Hayton of San Angelo, Texas; one daughter, Shellie (Jeff) Peterson of Abbotsford; two granddaughters, Megan and MacKensie Peterson; and one brother, Mick (Muriel) Ruud of Eugene, Ore.
Sharon was proceeded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26, at the Colby VFW Post 2227, from 12 to 6 p.m.
Maurina - Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
